Jordan Baker

Raised in Lancaster, PA.  A passion for beauty as long as she’s can remember. A girl with ambition and dreams..

Jordan moved to ATL at 18 to begin the first step in her beauty career at Aveda institute of ATL where she would receive her license in Cosmology. During her schooling she apprenticed under a top-producing stylist at Aura Hair and Makeup in Roswell, Georgia. Shortly after her apprentiship ended she was recruited by the owner of The Hair Rock Cafe located in downtown ATL, a salon with an Urban-vibe, where she specialized in natural ethnic hair textures and custom color for extensions and was able to freelance hair and makeup in her free time.

In 2015, after just shy of 3 years in ATL, she decided to follow her heart and moved back to Lancaster, PA to be closer to family.  Upon Jordan’s return to PA she began working at LUXE Salon and Spa where she quickly built her book and obtained her Network Educator certification through Bumble and Bumble University in Manhattan, New York.

In 2018 her son William was born which gave her the motivation to transition into owning a business of her own. Jordan’s goal behind the chair is to make sure that every client receives exceptional service in a safe, intimate environment. Her main priority as a hairdresser is to create a look that suits each client’s individual lifestyle and accentuates their best features. She specializes in natural color techniques and teaches her clients to maintain healthy hair with the help of Olaplex and Euphora products haircare/styling products.

In 2020, after 2 years of being self employed, Jordan’s goal was to push herself professionally and to venture into other areas of the beauty industry. Her first step was to become a Beauty Counter Consultant. Believe it or not.. there are currently no laws in the US that regulate what can or cannot be in beauty products. Beauty Counter is a company that only uses safe non-toxic ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. Since this is something that Jordan feels very passionate about, being a consultant provides her with the opportunity to educate her guests on harmful ingredients and provide a solution for safer options.

Jordan’s most recent adventure was deciding to follow her passion for fashion and in mid 2020 she started working with a Lancaster-based artist/ graphic designer to create a men’s and women’s apparel brand: REVIVE was born!  REVIVE- to regain consciousness, strength or life.

The journey continues as Jordan is currently pursuing her Babtise Power Yoga Teacher certification. This which will allow her to share the importance of meditation, physical activity and the anatomy of the body.

Jordan’s long term vision is to create a culture for people who want to be healthier, physically, mentally and spiritually ..people who want to be the best version of themselves and lead others to do the same and who have a passion to break free from the barriers that society puts on us and the limitations we put on ourselves in order to live our most authentic, meaningful lives.
